Okay, okay! I know.
I stopped writing for one freaking year. AND yes, a lot happened. A lot. lot. lot.
JANUARY
January started good as the first month of the year. I had a date with someone after a long time. I learned to do some adult stuff with my girl friends, I got addicted with hot choco, found myself so fond of Marie Kondo, went out with some high school friends and talked about life, attended birthday parties and one wedding ceremony, and Angel got caught having a boy friend (prolly that highlight of this month!), and then my love for jelly ace went overboard. And this month was also a month of chasing and in denial, I had to deal with my feelings 'cause I don't want to hurt someone just because I was so indecisive and unsure.
FEBRUARY
February was hella good, too. I made a video for Rica's birthday, I loved it so much! She's my favorite subject. In our NSTP-CWTS, we had to do a lot of surveys and interviews which I enjoyed a lot. I love talking to people in different walks of life, I got to learn from their perspectives. This month was also the month where I loved my hair peg, how I wish I maintained it til now. Believe it or not, I got to catch up with my childhood bestfriends out of lunch. Jasmin, EJ, and I grew up together and it was such a nostalgic time to be with each other talking about our current lives. I got to bring someone to the Feast, we completed the Saturdays of February. It was a blessing 'cause it talked about love and relationship which guided and cleared my thoughts. I received my Janina Vela merch. And please, congratulate me as I had a Valentine's date for the first time! We just ate my new found fave which is sisig. Then, on the night of 14, I got to spend a dinner date with my family. As Valentine's got prolonged, I went out the next day with my stells. We ate ate Pepper Lunch (also a first time and now a fave of mine!). Crazy how we talked about life and relationships, and we ended up crying. This is really the month of love since one of my OG couples, Kryz and Slater, got married. I got to dress up with my old UIC SHS uniform for a skit in class, I spent a lot of time with CWTS classmates, practiced cheerdance (I got CJ for our choreo and music), and we bagged the champion card!!! Who would have thought?? char.
Update: consistently looking for that someone already, i'm happy with him. i guess? jk.
MARCH
What a sleepless month, full of stress and progress. You can find me always with someone. I really like being with him, you think so? My fave IG baby, Leia, started going to school already which made me feel old. Okay, so, as I was scrolling my IG stories archive, I was always with him. Okay, girl. hold up!! Going out, eating, weekends, study sesh. It was always with him. I bought oreo cheesecake cookies for papa's birthday. We ate at Chippen's (our fave) for Papa's day. I made a family tree after a longgg time.
And your girl is taken! I finally committed myself in a relationship after a lot of hesitations and doubts and fears. It was 8th of March while watching Captain Marvel (I was not into Marvel pa this time, I was just forced to watch it with him). And oh, someone has a name and it is Borj.
P.S. His mother added me on facebook and we were chatting on messenger. I was so nervous and pressured.
APRIL
April started with a birthday celebration, Eula's! This month was also the community culmination of our CWTS which got me super busy. I ran some errands with my guy hehe. Angel went into a minor operation, it was just a small lump(?). We produced a class magazine. This month is mama's birthday, her friends from church surprised her. I watched Five Feet Apart with hmmm. A lot of eating out with Borj happened -- I guess, this is our common denominator. We were also practicing for our exam which was a festival dance.
MAY
Finals month, farewell to my first year in college! I made a short summary of my life for it was our final requirement in UTS. We did a good job in our festival dance, it was such a fulfilling moment. We passed a lot of papers... a lot of paper works. It was a good feel, lifting a heavy burden our of my worries. This month, we were a suki at Barney's. Their soup is the best!! I finished the Marvel movies for the End Game!!! I cried a lot. I love it. My ultimate fave movie. Term paper defense happened, it was so funny 'cause Leigh said something then the panel believed him. And, I graduated in our NSTP-CWTS with Wes! We took our family picture and we were running late for our oral examination in Ethics but it was fine, we got there on time. I got sick during the last week. I went out to eat with Borj before he goes back to his hometown. The thing was, it rain. We got stranded and I had no choice but to let him accompany me go home since I was not feeling well. My parents agreed. Basically, he met mama for the first time (last week, he also got to talk to them through a phone call lol). No choice, it was already late and there's no transpo going out of our place so he stayed in our house. Grabe, it was so unexpected. First meet with sleepover! The next morning, he met papa. It was not that scary but all they know was he was still courting. Sorry, parents hahahaha. To sum it up, May was eventful for me.
JUNE
Fave month, birth month! If you are one of my close friends, you know how I always look forward for my birthday. We had a lot of family eat outs this month. For the first week, we went to Samal Island with my grade school bffs and got a relaxing break away from chaos and noise of the city. A breather, indeed. The family attended a formal dinner with a cause for our Parish. Miss Universe month. I had a girls' night with my girls and I went home with a surprise, I got my new phone!!!! Borj's mom had make pasabay his phone to a friend who lives in Panabo and I was tasked to meet the girl and get Borj's phone (and my chocolates!). I set up his phone and I ate a lot of chocolates. I had another day out with my girls, broke but still going out. Another stupid decision, I had bangs. I was bored, okay??? Borj went back to Davao for he was part of the graduation staff and ofc, its my birthday! I attended a birthday party with mama, I dont know the celebrant. I was just a tag along, who says no for free buffet? I started playing Mobile Legends, too. I spent my last day of being a teen, alone. Went out of the streets of Davao, i missed how it felt. I went to church, lighted some candles and prayed. Then, Happy 20th self! I invited my college friends and ofc, my borj. I video chatted with some of Borj's friends. Rica stayed with me the whole time, talked about life and everything in between. Mitzi, Tuas, and I had a short catch up over a video call. Tita and Izai visited us and we accompanied Angel to buy some school supplies. Its just one of my annual ate duties. And that was Hunyo for me. It was good and I feel so loved.
JULY
July started with a me-time kind of date. I went out a lot on my own. I had to kill time. I spent most of my down times watching Netflix series. I went out with Cindy and Wes. Wes and I went out together, too. I cried 'cause Wes was already enrolled in another university which means I have no b in school. No partner, no one to buy food with, no kaaway. Ughhhh. MinCorr's family day was boring, the most boring one of all. Danica (gs bff who risked everything and made her life in Manila) went home. And ofc, we needed to bond before she will leave again. We attended Kyle's birthday, I had to go to Rica's pa cause she was not online. I gotta drag her with me. The night was fun. Eula, Rica, and I spent a night long chika at Mcdo SPMC. I watched Stranger Things, and I loved it. We received a sad news, my lola's sister died. Since my lola (mama's mom) died when I was young pa, we got really close to Nanay. My two cousins from Manila went home immediately, I made sabay with them. I spent a week or more there. I met a lot of my cousins, bonded with them as we mourn. A sad close of July.
AUGUST
I had to go home 'cause it was time for enrollment already. The girls and I went school supplies shopping and ofc I went all out huhu #ineverlearn. I forgot how to do my necktie, I had to watch a tutorial in Youtube. August 13, please remember that date. I won't ever forget that date. A lot of fake smiles and painful tears. I was busy with GEMS, attended OPEN, and went free reading at NBS. I don't like August. I hate this month.
SEPTEMBER
I welcomed September with unli wings feast! The college barkada decided to have our lunch delivered one day, and Mcdo people left a note that goes;
"Life is hard, but if you do good and make things right, life will be worth it. Laban lang guys! Study hard." It was so sweet, you know.
This month, I experienced my first USeP resort. It was hella scary. I got wet, my shoes were soaked with water. I hate it, my pet peeve. I needed to eat something hot, so I ate ramen! We voted for our Local Council officers, got addicted to Shopee, spent chill Fridays, got to eat Jelly tongue after a good 8 years??? A lot of school related events happened, it was stressful. Aice went hyped. I got a stiff neck after years!!!!! I experienced one when I was in kinder pa! I got to sundo Borj's mom and lola, first meeting pa 'to ha! Our first meetings with each other's moms were hella unique and unexpected. I got to spend time with them. We got close with the CCO people. I spent a good time studying in Blugre, fave place to study!
OCTOBER
On going midterms. I was into Township, I was so hooked to the game. A lot of CCO tambay. Mitzi and I finally saw each other since January!!! Ughh I hate college, no luxury if time to bond with my fave girl. My family with Borj went out for dinner. We had a shoot for our GEMS Day AVP. There was a lot of chill weekends with Borj, too. I edited our AVP!!! I cut my hair short, shortest of all. Angel won the G9 Ms. Mini-O, road to Ms. Intrams. Sammy let us borrow her teacher uniforms. I bought a school bag that I can get messy with. We celebrated Jodah's birthday at Mitzi's. A couple of earthquakes shook the hell out of us. It went so messy after this.
NOVEMBER
We visited Lolo, I sang tie a yellow ribbon. We celebrated Angel's birthday in Yakimix (same fave intensity with Chippen's!). School works, paper works. One afternoon, we went to the canteen with out seniors hehe. Dean's list #kabitkapit. GEMS Day!!!!! Congrats, we did it. I pulled off a same-day edit huhuhu go self! It was fun, thank you to our freshies and seniors. Ofc, our classmates who stayed and helped with us all throughout the stress and struggles. We caught Nadela and went out with the college uic barkada. A lot of catching up happened. Borj and I love eating, so we went on a samgyup date night. Nanay Bibing died, so unexpected. I cried myself to sleep 'cause if there's one relative that I'm really close to, that would be Nanay. She was so dear and gentle to everyone. Due to acads, I needed to had a me time to buy some school stuff for a project. We had a screening for our representatives in Mr. and Ms. CED. Demo teaching for the first time, I was not happy with my performance. I wanted to cry, I was so disappointed with myself. I promise to do better next time around. I attended a seminar something organized by the CCO. Rica and I scheduled our passport appointment. I watched a lot of CEd matches, I spent a Friday with Borj. And oh, I met his family (except lola and lolo) this month! And yes, I got to meet Chuchu finally!!!! We went to Crocodile Park then fetched his papa and stepmom at the airport. We ate at a Shabu-Shabu in Damosa then we went to school to watch a game. We watched a movie the next day, we ate at Gerry's Grill. And we saw the president's daughter dining with her special someone hehehe. I joined a team quiz bee (abrupt sign-up) and we won first place! Pabuhat sa mga first year hahaha. CEd Fest was fun! I got to dress up. One late karen dinner with CCO people, got free viands 'cause we were the last customers. And then, we had a shoot for our Phil. His. requirement at Sta. Ana Wharf and Magsaysay Park.
DECEMBER
Kryz is pregnant! Yes!!! Another IG baby comingggg for me. I spent late nights at school. I edited our vlog, the sem was ending already. Angel was crowned as Miss Intramurals! I was not there to show my support since we were practicing for our exam in P.E. (which is the next day na). I got to dress up again. I finished some requirements so I can clear my schedule. CCO fiesta. College uic barkada had a quick lunch out. Borj took a pic of me with the cutie litol santas. It was Borj's day!!! I bought him some white shirts 'cause I love seeing him wearing those. We went to Eden and had an abrupt stay due to the consecutive earthquakes. And this was the first time ata na I met Nathan. After going home from Eden, I took a bath and went out again to eat samgyup with his boy barkadas. Midterms done. I had a pamper sesh to treat myself. Borj was not feeling well, he had a fever and I had to bring him home to make sure that he's taking his meds. Thanks to my parents for being kind and considerate. And for taking care of Borj, too. A lot of birthday greetings happened. Rica and I went to Tagum for our passport appointment, but of course we got to do some fail shenanigans. Christmas with family and friends. More time with friends, movie mara and eating. We were everywhere together. Angel and I watched Miracle in Cell No. 7 (Filipino). I cried a lot, I thought I was immune with the pain. Rica and I went back to Tagum and yes, finally succeeded with the requirements and procedures. We discovered a great unwinding place. I finished the Star Wars. I spent the last day with my btchs. And that was it. A month full of festivity.
This is a summary of what happened in my life in the year of 2019. It was full of unexpected events and plot twists, but I wouldn't have it in any other way. I love everyone who became part of my life and the ones who stayed even after the years. Thank you for making my life worthy to be remembered.
